3. Clinical-Psychological Services and Health Data

In the course of my clinical-psychological work, health data may be processed, including information concerning complaints, health condition, medical history, diagnoses, examination results, findings and previous treatments.

Such data may be processed for clinical-psychological diagnostics and services, documentation, communication, billing, compliance with legal and professional obligations and, where necessary, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The processing of health data is based on the applicable provisions of Article 9 GDPR together with the relevant statutory and professional regulations.

4. Documentation and Retention

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am legally required to maintain documentation of clinical-psychological measures.

Under Section 35 of the Austrian Psychologists Act (Psychologengesetz 2013), such documentation must generally be retained for at least ten years.

Statutory documentation and retention obligations remain unaffected by a request for deletion.

After the applicable retention period has expired, the relevant data will be deleted or securely destroyed unless another legal obligation or lawful reason requires further retention.

Technically necessary cookies may be used where required for the proper and secure operation of the website. Non-essential cookies and comparable technologies are only used where the required consent has been obtained.
